The Fear of the Fog

The Fear of the Fog at Woldt Gallery, Hamburg, explored the attraction and unease of fog: diffused light, obscured paths and layers of landscape appearing and disappearing. It grew from Kuznetsov’s encounter with fog during a return to his mother’s dacha near Minsk, connecting the experience with memory, distance and a longing to return to one’s origins.
