A short studio interview with Alex Kuznetsov, recorded in Lisbon in 2025. He speaks about painting as a process built on duration and repetition, and as a form of resistance to speed: the working method, the industrial tools, silence as a structural element and attention as a material condition of viewing. Abstraction here is a constructed situation that unfolds over time and asks for the viewer’s presence.
